The rules for using Hush SMS on the website, in the Telegram bot and through the API. Updated October 28, 2026. In short Hush SMS provides virtual numbers for receiving SMS and calls with codes. By using the service you accept these terms. Fraud and deception are forbidden, and following the rules of third-party platforms is up to you. The balance is a prepayment for services. ## About the service Hush SMS ("the service", "we") provides virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS and calls with verification codes on third-party platforms. The service is available on hush-sms.com, in the Telegram bot [@HushNumBot](https://t.me/HushNumBot?start=landing) and through the API. Numbers are provided by third-party operators and suppliers. We do not own the numbers and do not control the platforms where you use them. By signing up or using the service you accept these terms, the [privacy policy](https://hush-sms.com/en/privacy/) and the [refund policy](https://hush-sms.com/en/refunds/). If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. The service is intended for users over 18. ## Account On the website an account is created with an email and a password, or through Google or Telegram. If you link Telegram, the balance and orders are shared between the website and the bot. You are responsible for keeping your password, Authenticator codes and API key safe. Actions taken from your account are considered yours. We may restrict or block an account if it is used in breach of these terms, for fraud or for attacks on the service. ## Balance and payments The balance is a prepayment for the service. Money is taken from the balance when you buy a number or extend a rental, including an automatic renewal you have turned on. You can top up the balance with the methods available on the website and in the bot. A top-up is credited once the payment system confirms the payment. The price of a number is shown before purchase and depends on the service, the country and availability. Funds on the balance cannot be withdrawn or exchanged back into money. When a refund is possible is described in the [refund policy](https://hush-sms.com/en/refunds/). ## Activations and rentals A one-time activation is for one code. An SMS number waits for the code for 15 minutes; a number for a code by call waits until the deadline shown in the order. If no code arrives, the money returns to the balance automatically. Once a code has arrived, the order is fulfilled. Another code can be requested if the sending service supports it and the order has not expired. A rental keeps a number yours for the chosen term for repeat logins and codes. Cancellation, extension and automatic renewal terms depend on the number and are shown in the rental card. We do not guarantee that a particular platform accepts a number, sends a code to it or does not block the account created with it: that is the platform's decision. ## Prohibited use You are responsible for following the laws of your country and the rules of the platforms where you use numbers. You may not use the service for: - fraud, deception or impersonating another person; - accessing other people's accounts and data without the owner's permission; - sending spam or other illegal activity; - attempts to hack the service, bypass its limits or disrupt its work. ## API An API key is issued in the web account or in the bot. Do not publish the key: it can spend your balance. If the key reaches someone else, reissue it right away. We may limit the request rate so that the service stays stable for everyone. Methods and examples are described in the [API documentation](https://docs.hush-sms.com/). ## Referral program With a personal website link you can earn up to 5% of the price of successful activations by invited users. Rewards go only to the account balance and cannot be withdrawn. A refund of a purchase cancels the reward for it. The detailed terms are in the web account under "Referrals". ## Liability The service is provided as is. We work to make numbers and codes arrive quickly, but we are not liable for failures of operators, number suppliers and third-party platforms. We are not liable for the consequences of using numbers on third-party platforms, including account blocks. Our liability is limited to the price of the order the problem concerns. ## Changes to the terms We may update these terms. A new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and the update date is shown at the top. By continuing to use the service you accept the updated terms.
